The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf precinct includes an Integrated Resort Development (IRD), comprising four towers situated atop a seven-storey podium and a five-level basement. Brisbane’s contentious resort and casino precinct has opened, nearly a decade after the proposed development was first announced by the Queensland government. It is understood that community groups are warming to the proposal as it does not include plans for a new cruise ship terminal.
